So on Saturday, we had a family birthday party and all the kiddos were playing together and Joseph says, We're playing super heros and ALL the girls are THE SUPER VILLIANS...then he pauses and says...
EXCEPT AUNT MARY...
BECAUSE SHE LOVES ME!!!
Is that not the sweetest thing everrrrr?!!? I'm sure the fact that he is awaiting a promised batch of my "World-Famous-9.9-give-Paradise-bakery-a-run-for-their-money-Chocolate-Chip-Cookies" have NOTHING to do with it!!! Heh, heh!!! ;)))

Mom's Eulogy Part 3

"And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes." (Deuteronomy 6:9)
At Landmark Pentecostal Church, she was known as Sis. Fran. Sis. Fran was involved in every aspect that she possibley could be. She was always doing things to help and serve and of course cook, EVERYONE LOVED HER COOKING!!! However the thing that Sis. Fran was the most passionate about in serving was with teaching the Angel's Bible class, which was the infant and toddlers. While most people would think that they were to young to be taught, Sis. Fran saw this as an opportunity to start putting The Word of God into them from their very begining. She taught them to say Bible scriptures when they could hardly even talk yet. She would have singing time with them, with little instruments, teaching them to praise and worship God. Of course there was always snacks, a prize, crafts, which of course once again always had a Bible scripture on them.
Posing with the now grown, Denae Abbott.
She loved those Angels, she was passionate about teaching them and literally taught them up until December of this past year, til she was physically unable to make it any longer to church.  She always said that she wanted to teach them til she died and that is what she did.
.
Frances died loving people. Even just this past January, when some of the kids on the bus ministry outreach came to visit her in the rehab center she was staying, she was so happy to see the kids and she said that seeing them had made her whole night. She sang with them "I got the Holy Ghost!" Then she hugged them and told them that she loved them and gave money for them to all get Happy meals from McDonald's, and she said that she wanted to do that any time the kids came to see her because that was something that she could still do for them. Thats just the way she was, she loved people and no matter how dire the circumstances of their lives, she always saw the potential in what they could be. She would say, you just never know which one of these kids will grow up to live for God.
.
"And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates." (Deuteronomy 6:9) Everywhere Frances went, she was always proclaiming the goodness of God. She was always ready to testify at church. Always giving God thanks for something. Always giving God glory for saving her and leading her to truth.
.
As time went by, Frances began to get weaker and weaker physically in her body, till one day she could no longer walk. She spent the last two years of her life basically bed ridden, yet, she never complained, she always tried to make the best of her situation. She did whatever she could from her room. She wrote cards and letters to people, she read books, she worked on craft projects to do with her Angels class, she even helped her grandaughter do class projects and to the best of her ability, she was STILL managing to cook from her room, even if it was vicariousley through her children but she would do would ever she possibley could from her room, chopping the vegetables, mixing the icing, seasoning the dish. Many, many times, she could be found going through piles and piles of recipes, finding new ones to try. She LOVED TO COOK! And when it came to her cooking, EVERYONE LOVED TO EAT!!!
.
As time went by, still bed ridden, she could hardly get herself in and out of bed anymore. During this time, Frances was also beginning to see these scenes of stuff happening before her eyes, almost like dreams, except she wasn't sleeping. She said they were always happy scenes of people that she had never met. Kids laughing and playing, a little girl in the kitchen or just random people doing stuff, but they were always smiling and always happy. she couldn't figure out who they were because they were not anyone that she reckonized. And as time went on she continued to get weaker and weaker till she could hardly stay awake anymore. On December 15th of this past year, Her children called 911 and she was rushed to the emergency room. As tests began to be done, she was quickley diagnosed with kidney failure. Frances was then admitted into the hospital to begin dialysis treatments.
.
Something amazing happened to Frances the second night she stayed in the hospital. At midnight her CNA came in to take her blood pressure. When they woke her up she was in absolute awe of something. She kept saying, "Its so beautiful! Its so beautiful! Someone take a picture! Its so beautiful! take a picture!" Then she began to wimper and cry. Her daughter asked her what was wrong and she said, I just saw a little part of heaven. She said it was so beautiful, exquisite yet indescribable, she just didn't have the words to express what she had seen, but she was in absolute awe. When asked what she had seen, the only thing she could actually describe was that she had seen smiling faces, she said everyone was just so happy! When asked how she felt after seeing it she simply said, "Like its REAL! It's REALLY REAL!!!"
.
She said that she knew now who all the people she had been seeing in the scenes that had been flashing in front of her for the last little while. She felt like they were all people that had already gone to heaven and met Jesus face to face and thats why they were all so happy. Aside from being in awe of what she had seen, this also left Frances with an extreme longing in her heart to go to what she had seen just a little part of. She started crying because she strongly desired to go to heaven, yet, she didn't want to leave her family, knowing how much they would miss her if she was gone.
.
Wanting to do the right thing, Frances determined get her dialysis treatments and live to the very best of her ability. She began to get better and she got to spend one last Christmas with her family. They decorated her room with Christmas decorations, hauled all the traditional Italian meals up to her room at the hospital, yes including crabs and macoroni, which we're all pretty sure she's the only patient that was eating that on Christmas Eve. All the hospital staff would come in and comment on all the delicous smelling food in the room, of course Frances offered anyone that wanted to, to get a plate of food and join them. On Christmas, they had a huge family gift exchange in her room and some how, she had managed to STILL go Christmas shopping from her bed at the hospital and had gifts to give to everyone. It was a memorabal and unforgetable Christmas.
.
After Christmas, Frances was well enough to be released to a rehab center where she determined that she was going to try and get some of her mobility back. She couldn't wait to be back at home with her family. However, things did not go the way she or her family had planned and Frances was soon back in the hospital she had just left. She tried and tried to get better but she just contiuned to get worse. Due to a side effect from kidney failure, she had developed a horrible infection on her leg that was spreading to other parts of her body, outside and inside as well. Not sure what to do or where to go, Frances continually prayed, asking God for help and direction on what to do. "I'm depending on you Lord. Tell me what to do, I'm depending on you."
.
And on February 13th, God had let Frances know what to do. She told her eldest daughter Theresa, "I want to go home!" She asked her mom, "home to our house?" Frances said, "No, home with JESUS!" Some how, she just knew that it was time, God had let her know and after praying with her pastor and the elder pastor of her church, Frances said her goodbyes to family and loved ones. She was then brought back to their family home through hospice where she spent the last of her days surrounded by the family she loved so dearly. After missing only one dialysis treatment, early Wednesday morning, February 17th at around 4 am, Frances breathed one last breath and peacfully left this old world behind. Exactly two months after her vision of heaven on December 17th, Frances got to go to that which she had been so in awe of.
.
In this life, Frances experianced many healings, miracles, blessings, heartache, suffering and pain, but if you were to talk to her right now, all she would be mentioning to you is the goodness of God. If you said God bless you, she would always respond back with, "He already has!" It was always her pleasure and desire to be a servent of God.
Today Frances, a servent of God, has finally achieved that which we all desire to achieve. To hear the Lord say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant... enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:21)
.
Her grandson Joseph says its like a race and when you finally get to the finish line, thats when you've reached heaven. Frances made it to that finish line, she has joined all those happy people, she is now one of those smiling faces that she saw. Tho our hearts ache and we miss her so much, it's not good bye, its just see you later, we're still traveling to our destination, but we'll see you on the other side of the finish line, in that sweet by and by!

The end

Mom's Eulogy Part 2

"And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up." (Deuteronomy 6:7)
After teaching at the private school for the teenage boys that had been kicked out of public school, Frances decided to resign from the career that she was passionate about and at this point she excepted a positon for a job that she never did resign from, MOTHERHOOD! Once Frances became a mother she knew that she wanted to be a stay-at-home mom, and her husband always backed her up in this decision because his mother had been a stay-at-home-mom, he saw the importance in that decision.
.
Frances said, "The moment I held Theresa, my firstborn in my arms, teaching was put on the back burner. I had a new passion, a new dream and a new career. I was a mommy now and I loved every moment of it. It was just the best thing. You have this little person that was created by God, given to you to care and nurture for."  She said that when her second child Joseph was 3-months, she got a phone call. It was the Vice- principal of the private school she had taught the boys at and she was calling to tell Frances that she had recently become the principal of the private school and that the vice-principal position was now open. After thinking about it she felt like Frances was the best person for the job. Frances said she was honored that she was being offered the position as vice principal without even an interview. However, without hesitation and much to the principal's surprise, Frances said, "Sorry, I am a mommy now and that is my job.” She never looked back or regretted her decision to give up her career as a teacher. Even in her last days she always said that it was worth every sacrifice and she always felt that there was no higher achievment for her than being a mom.
.
Frances loved spending time with her children. She never really was one to go hang out with girl friends, she was always hanging out with her kids. She was always helping them have the best school projects in their class, she volunteered in their class rooms, she taught the mini museums. Every summer she took her kids to Jr. Youth Camp where she was the arts and crafts teacher. Every craft that she would make with the kids would always have a Bible scripture on it. She said that this was a way of getting The Word of God in homes that may never otherwise have scriptures in their home.
.
Every night before they went to bed, Frances would sit on her chair in the living room,  her five children gathered around on other chairs and the floor and she would read to them, The Box Car Kids, The Hardy Boys, Beverly Cleary books, she loved to read to them. The kids would always beg her to read more, come one mom, just one more chapter, just one more!!! Sometimes the book was so good she just couldn't stop for the night, and she would say to the kids, just one more chapter, just let me read one more chapter to you guys. Sometimes she would think the book was so funny she would be laughing so hard she couldn't even get out what she was saying and the kids would say, MOM! What's so funny? We can't understand what your reading!!!
.
She taught her kids through her actions the importance of faithfulness to the house of God. No matter how sick she was feeling, she rarely ever missed a church service. She also taught her children through her actions to do what is right no matter the risk or what anyone else said. Two times, for her pregnancies with her youngest sons, she went to against what her doctor said, advising her to have abortions when he told her the danger of her being pregnant. She didn't care what anyone said, she was willing to give up everything for the life of her babies.
.
She would tell her children that they had to love God with everything and she would always tell them, "Keep your eyes on Jesus, and everything will be alright!" Two days before Frances died, she called for all her immediate family to come into the room and she told them that she was leaving soon and to remember to be kind to each other and to always walk in His ways! Her family and God were the most important things to her. Her biggest disapointment as a mother was the amount of children she had, she always wanted ten but she was only able to have five!
.
"And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes." (Deuteronomy 6:8)
Frances always loved God and desired to please him, but she was not always Pentecostal in her faith and she never had plans of becoming one. However, she had a very persistent neighbor that lived across the street from her that kept inviting and inviting and inviting her to church. and She always said no, But her neighbor never stopped asking and one day she finally gave in and went to church with her neighbor, if only to get her to stop asking and with that one visit to a Pentecostal church, Frances never stopped going. She said that she just loved what she saw with people openly worshipping God and what she felt in God's presence and she never looked back! When Frances converted to Pentecostal, she began to make some changes in her life, but she never really saw it as give anything up, she always said she just wanted to be pleasing to God.
.
Frances attend Pastor Vic Votaw's church for 9 months before moving to Arizona. During that 9 months, Sis. Fran immediatley began teaching Sunday School, she recieved the gift of the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus name, just like it says in Acts chapter two. Bro. Votaw began teaching her Bible studies once a week, which usually included a good Italian dinner for him. Finally, one day during the Bible study, Frances said she got a revelation of one God, she said when it happened it was like scales had literally been lifted from her eyes and a veil removed, she finally saw it, she understood, there was only ONE GOD and Jesus was his name. God had not just sent someone else to die on the cross for him, but God himself robed himself in flesh and came down to earth to die for her sins. She got it, she understood the scriptures, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" (1 Timothy 2:5) She knew now that  there was no need for someone else to intercept between her and God, because Jesus had already done that and now she herself could boldly go before the throne of God. Her pastor was so excited he was shouting and said Sis. Fran lets go dance for victory in the streets.
.
After 9 months at Pastor Votaw's church, in 1986, the Ginty family, with only their first three children moved to Arizona, the state Frances had gone to college in. She always loved New York City, but felt that with the way things were at the time in the neighborhood they were living, she felt like she wanted her children in a safer environment. Once the Ginty's moved to Arizona, they soon found a home in Cave Creek Arizona, then they immetiatley began looking for a home church to go to. Frances said that when she had told Bro. Votaw that they were moving to Arizona, with Arizona being on almost the completely opposite side of the U.S. he said that he did not know of any specific Pentecostal churches in this state, but that when she got there to pray and God would direct her to the right church. So she began searching for the right church for her and her family. She visited several different church but kept looking, however, she always said that the moment she walked into Landmark Pentecostal Church, she said "I'm home." She felt it in her spirit, this was it, this is where she belonged and through thick and thin she attended this church for 30 years.

Mom's Eulogy Part 1

I wanted to share with you all my mom's eulogy. My family asked me to write it for her memorial service and I was quite nervous about it. It turned out quite long buuuut it's MY MOM, how could it be short. However, i'll be dividing it up over several days this week. I hope that you enjoy it and that my mom's life can be an inspiration to you all! God Bless.
.My sweet, sweet, SWEEET lil Momma!!!
"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." (Deuteronomy 6:5)
We are here today to celebrate the life and home going of Frances Theresa Ginty, a woman that truly loved God with all her heart, soul and might. Frances was born February 20th 1953 and passed away February 17th 2016, at the age of 62, three days before her 63rd birthday. She left behind her husband Joseph, her daughter Theresa and her daughter Mary Jo, her son Joseph, his wife and his children Justin, Joseph, Juliana and Jeremiah. Her daughter Mary, her son John, his wife and their daughter Bethany and her son Abraham and his wife. Frances Ginty, known to most as Franny or Sister Fran, can be described best as a loving, faithful, servent of God.
.
Frances was born in New York City to the parents of Joseph and Nancy Mangino and grew up in an Italian family. She was the middle child of her parents three children, Her older brother Micheal and younger brother Joseph. Growing up, Frances attended public school in New York City from kindergarten thru 6th grade. In high school she attended a All Saints High School in Brooklyn till she graduated. After graduation she attended community college where she recieved a scholarship for school, she then moved to Arizona and enrolled in the Arizona State University where she went til she completed a Master's degree in special education.
.
After getting her first job and teaching for a little while in Arizona, Frances decided it was time to move back to New York City and get married. Even though she wasn't actually in a relationship with him at the time, she was planning on marrying, her childhood sweet  heart, the Irish boy that lived one block away, her best friend's brother, she always said, "he was just so good looking!" Frances was successful in her plans and on July 8th, 1979, she married Joseph Patrick Ginty, the only man she ever loved.
.
After getting married and becoming a Ginty, Frances began persuing a teaching job in New York City. It was hard for her to find a teaching postion there because she had been certified in Arizona. She finally got a job at a private school for kids that had been kicked out of all the public schools in NYC. Her specific position was teaching the teenage boys. These were the kids that nobody wanted; but she said she loved being their teacher. She always said It was like deep down inside there was goodness about them that she could help bring out. she said, You had to let them see what was inside themselves. Let them see their own self worth. She loved being their teacher, it was very enjoyable and fulfilling to her.
.
"And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:" (Deuteronomy 6:6) It was always in Frances' heart to do good. Even as a teenager her close friend, now sister-in-law, Lizzy says that Franny was always so kind. She says that they would ride the "A" train to high school, (which even back in the 70's was a tough train.) and Franny was always stopping to help people and talk to them," She says, "and I would be yelling at her, "we're gonna get mugged!"
.
And she did that kind of stuff her whole entire life. She always took time for the people that no one else wanted or got on other people's  nerves. There was a time for several years that she would pick up a smelly elderly man that was known as the neighborhood bum and bring him to church and not only that, she would bring him meals, teach him Bible studies, and take him to appoinments. Thats just the way she was. She would find the worst behaved or homliest child and would spend time with them, tell them that they had worth, that they were good not bad, that they were beautiful and that Jesus loved them. She was always buying things for other people, clothes, toys, hamburgers, she was just always giving. Frances never had a lot of money, but it didn't matter if she did, she still would have died poor because she was always spending it on someone else.
.
With Frances, it didn't matter if you were the president of the United States or a bum on the street, she always treated everyone with the same respect. Frances' talked to EVERYONE! Grouchiness, snootiness, shyness, rudeness never bothered her, Frances just continued talking to the person and before you knew it, they were talking with her as well. Her kids recall a time, just a few years ago at a church conferance in Fresno California, they were in the van getting ready to leave and her one son was packing up her wheelchair in the back of the van. Theresa noticed that there was a homeless man that was about to walk by the van and she whispered to everyone else, lets see if this man can walk by the van without mom talking to him. Sure enough, as he aproached the van, Frances saw the man and to no one's surprise, the next thing everyone heard was their mom greeting the homeless man like he was an executive business man, "Good evening sir, how are you?" and everyone in the van busted up laughing, thats just the way she was.
.
It also didn't matter if you were the president of the United States or a bum on the streets, she also wouldn't hesitate to give you her oppinion or let you know if she didn't agree with you, it didn't mean that she didn't like you, she was just letting you know how she felt. Frances was not just outgoing, she was also intimidated by pretty much no one but God. Anytime someone was scared to go talk to someone or ask someone something, she was always willing to go do it, she would say, well you know, they're not God! Frances' was friends with everyone, even if she didn't agree with you, somehow she always managed to give her oppinion and to still win their favor most of the time. She was loved by many people that had different oppinons in politics and world views, because even despite the differences, Frances never stopped loving the person.

What to do when Broken-hearted!!!

What do you do when heartache comes?!
What do you do when your broken hearted? What do you do when you can't stop the tears from flowing? When you lay awake at night, knowing there is NOTHING you can physically do to fix or change what happened? What do you do when your so broken hearted you don't think you'll ever be whole again?  What do you do when your heart feels split in million shattered pieces?
.
What do you do when life punches you in the stomach, gives you a black eye, tackles you to the ground and pounds you with a beating that knocks the wind out of you???

With the loss of my mom in February, I can say that for the second time in my life I have truly felt what it is like to be broken-hearted. Although there is much joy and celebration knowing where she has gone, it is STILL the loss of someone I love. No matter what, I STILL MISS HER, my heart is still broken at her departure. And don't get me wrong, I don't feel like my life is over, i'm not depressed or anything like that, its just a sadness that is there in your loss.
.
Broken-hearted, we've all been there and IF you haven't, trust me, ONE day you will!!! It is in these hard times that we really don't know what to do, but we do have an example to always follow...
.
WHAT DID JESUS DO?!
.
The Bible says in Mathew that the king beheaded his cousin John the Baptist as a present to the daughter of Herodias. "And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought [it] to her mother." How do you think that made JESUS feel?!?! Knowing that HIS close cousin, whom he loved, was beheaded as a BIRTHDAY present to some spoiled little BRAT!!! This is what the Bible says happened...
.
1. He went to be alone...
"When Jesus heard of it, (Heard of his cousins death) he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart:"
.
2. BUT people came to him...

and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities. And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude,
.
3.He loved, He helped, He healed...
and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
.
4. What the disciples thought...
And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
.
5. What Jesus thought...
But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give  ye them to eat. And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. He said, Bring them hither to me. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven,
.
6. HE FED THEM...
he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.
.
7. HE PRAYED!!!
And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray..." (Matthew 14:13-23)
.
I was soooo struck by this passage when I read it...I was just like WOW!!!
.
WHAT DID JESUS DO?!?!?!
His FIRST response was to get away and mourn...and of course there is a time and need as humans for us to mourn, EVEN JESUS DID!!! BUT when Jesus realized that their was people that NEEDED him... he PUT ASIDE HIS OWN HURT and he had COMPASSION on them!!!
.
What did JESUS do?!!?! He ministered to them! He healed the sick!!! The disciples thought the Jesus should be LEFT ALONE...BUT JESUS...He fed the hungry! AND HE PRAYED!!! AND then if you keep reading you know what Jesus does NEXT?!?! He walks on water!!! Oh what a MIGHTY AWESOME God we serve!!! What a wonderful, beautiful example He is to us!!
.
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN  heartache comes?!?!
.
YOU PRAY and you get up, you feed the hungry, you love people and you KEEP ON WALKING!!! You may momentarily have the wind knocked out of you, but don't stay there, You go on  with the things God has called you to do!!! You may think that it is best to just stay away and bandage your wounds... BUT... you will find that there IS HEALING in fulfilling what God has called you to in this life!!!
.
EVEN at the absolute, very lowest point in your life, when you feel worse than dirt beneath your nails and lower than belly button fuzz, IF you have obeyed Acts 2:38, been forgiven of your sins, had them washed away in JESUS name and received the wonderful gift of the HOLY GHOST, despite ANYTHING you have lost, YOU STILL HAVE MORE THAN THE RICHEST PERSON ON THIS EARTH!!!
.
No matter what happens in this life, YOU'VE STILL GOT JESUS!!! You STILL have a hope that this world does NOT HAVE!!! Despite your circumstances, You need to realize that there are PEOPLE that NEED  what YOU have!!! There are SOULS that NEED YOU!!! Somone needs YOU to minister to them!!! Someone needs YOUR LOVE!!! Someone NEEDS YOUR PRAYERS!!! Someone NEEDS YOUR HELP!!! Feed the hungry!!! There are hungry souls everywhere that are waiting to be fed!!! Feed the hungry!!! Feed the hungry!!! FEED THE HUNGRY!!! FEED THE HUNGRY!!!
.
FEED THE HUNGRY!!!
You do this and before you know it...your gonna be walking on water!!! Maybe not physically, BUT spiritually!!! You focus on God and he is gonna bless you. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalms 147:3) God WILL take care of you in your hurting times..."...to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness..." (ISAIAH 61: 3)
.
There is NOTHING the devil would like more than for you to lose focus and get all hung up on your problem, on your wounds, on you heartache...BUT you know what you gotta do?!?! You just keep walking!!! In the midst of your heartache...
Remember what Jesus did...
He prayed...
 He fed the hungry...
HE LOVED PEOPLE!!!

"And Jesus... and was moved with compassion toward them..."

Last Memories with Mom...

One of my last few memories with my mom is of her loving and nurturing me. One Saturday, while she was in the rehab place she was staying, I was there later in the morning than I  normally was due to the fact that I didn't have to wake up early for work! My mom's breakfast came and as soon as it did, she of course offered me some. I really didn't want any but my mom INSISTED she share with me, so I said I would have the toast, since I'm not a huge egg fan and I could only imagine how they were at the rehab place, LOL!!!
.
So I went to go get the butter, jelly and toast from my mom to make it up but she was like, Oh no Mary, I'll make it up for you! So she did! Laying there in her bed, so sick and miserable she made that toast for me, she wanted to do this, to be my mommy and take care of me! Buttering up a piece of toast may not seem like a big deal, but it was just the fact that this was something that she could still do for me, MAKE ME UP SOME TOAST!!! As far as I'm concerned, that was THE BEST piece of toast I've ever had!!!!
My other favorite last memory with her was two Saturdays before she died. She was in the hospital again and I was coming to her room after prayer one night at church. I had brought lotion and blanket and some sugar free candy for her and when I walked into see her I was like, HEEEEEEEEEY MOM, lets have a sleepover! (Needless to say we'd been having sleepovers with each other for about two months now! LOL)
.
I had planned to you know, put lotion on her feet and just have fun. But apparently, without talking to each other about it, my mom had the same sort of plans. She had ordered from the hospital this lil mini slice of cheesecake, hot chocolate and a little carton of vanilla ice cream and we split all with each other. It was so sweet and considerate and just in general a fun night!

Annnnnnnnnnd that's a few of the last memories I have of my mom. Her loving, giving and nurturing me as long as she could! Even til the very end she was trying to take care of us kids. She was always offering us her hospital food, insisting, and getting upset if we said we weren't hungry, I remember finally giving in and eating that hospital dinner roll that I had no desire to waste calories on! LOL That's just the way my mom was!
Loving, giving, nurturing, serving...
Til the very end her true spirit shown through!!!
