Im the kind of girl THAT..

I'm the kind of girl that if Brad Pitt knocked on my door, I honestly wouldn't know the difference between him AND any other sales person trying to sell me stuff or the JW's trying to give me a Watchtower magazine. I HONESTLY don't know what the dude looks like!!!

When I tell people that, Everyone's always like, Oh COME ON Mary, how can you NOT know who Brad Pitt is??? I remember one time I was informing a buncha people that I don't know who Brad Pitt is and everyone was like WHAT?!?! Really Mary? Like really? You don't know WHO BRAD PITT IS?

And I was kinda starting to feel kind of dumb about it...HOW can you NOT know who Brad Pitt is??? EVERYONE knows who Brad Pitt is!!! Then, all of the sudden, I heard ANOTHER voice speak up... "Well I don't know who Brad Pitt is!" It was Elder Sis. Abbott's wife,ANNNNNNND...At that moment in time, I FELT SOOOO AWESOME! Me and my pastor's wife didn't know who Brad Pitt was...I felt like THE COOLEST GIRL IN THE WHOLE WORLD!

One time when I was in high school, I had this HUGE crush on some movie star!!! I thought he was sooooo cute...blah, blah, blah...then one day one of my brothers were like Heeey Mary did you hear about him? I'm like no what about him???!?!?! They were like, oh yeah he came out and he is bi-sexual! I was like WHAT?!?!?! NO WAAAAY!!! And I looked it up and SURE ENOUGH HE WAS!!! I was like EWWWW!!! I decided after that, that NEVER again would I chase after worldy guys and movie stars!!!

Seriousley, what's the big whoop, about some guy that doesn't even have the Holy Ghost??? Give me a Jesus name, born again, Holy Ghost filled, One God, Apostolic, tongue talking, holy rolling, Godly young man ANY day over Brad Pitt!!!

HOW do I NOT know who Brad Pitt is???

I don't know, I guess maybe it's just because...

I REALLY DON'T CARE!!!

The Votaws!!!

He has preached all over the US, China, Taiwan, the Philipines, Vietnam and many more Asian countries. He preaches in underground churches in communism countries. He converted a man on death row in prison to Christ and 3 hours before that man died he baptized him in Jesus name. He prayed the first man in Vietnam to kill and americn soldier through to the Holy Ghost and Baptized him in Jesus name. He has converted trinitartin preachers all over to the Oneness doctrine...BUT ABOVE all else...I thank God that I TOO am ONE OF THOSE souls he reached out too...he gave 7 years of his life to New York City!!! I thank God that he answered the call!!! It wasn't until his 6th & final year as pastor there, that our family came into church...we were there for 9 months before we came to AZ and then right after that the Votaws left NYC for the mission fields of Asia...I THANK God that someone had a burden for NYC!!!

This is the woman that invited my Momma to a Pentecostal church!!! She told me that she was actually new in the church herself and that she would see my mom in the front yard of our house playing with us kids and she just wanted so badly for my mom to have what she had just recieved herself. It may have been just one person that she was witnessing to at that time, but that one person has had an affect on her own five children and now its her Grandchildren that are still recieving the blessing of Sis. Kathy's witness. 25 years ago, it wasn't just my mom...I may have only been two at the time, but it was ME she was winning too! I thank God she wasn't afraid to be a witness and that she didn't give up on my mom. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:39) When you decide to live for God it doesn't just stop with you!
