10-second rule???

Soooo the other day, at my sisters birthday party, Jose dropped something, as his cake, on the floor and someone jokingly goes, oh it's ok Jose, you can still eat it! Isn't there like that 10-second rule??? Someone else says, oh I thought it was the one minute rule? And someone else says no I think it's the 10 minute rule! Im like, WHATEVERRR!!!
