Sing it baby!!!

If there is anything we all know about my niece Marry Joe, it is that she loves music and singing. At church for our Christmas drama Marry Joe and a group of kids sang a song together about Jesus. So last week she was in the van and she was just singing her heart out. She is singing so pretty the song from the drama. "Jesus, Savior, what a lovley name. Alpha, Omega, beginning and the end. He came from heaven, Redeemer, Savior, Friend. Jesus, what a lovley name"...Then the next words outta her mouth...I can shake it like this, I can shake it like that!!!" It was soooooooooo funny!!! I was laughing so hard!!! She is hilarious...obviousley she has been hanging out with someone for to long!!! HAHA! (IDK who ;) Keep singing it baby!!!

Jesus is better than Santa!!!!

Jesus is Better than Santa.
Santa lives at the North Pole; JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh; JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year; JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies; JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited;JESUS stands at your door and knocks… and then enters your heart.
You have to stand in line to see Santa;JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap; JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is, "Hi, little boy/girl. What's your name?" JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly; JESUS has a heart full of love.
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO; JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says, "You better not cry!" JESUS says, "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you."
Santa's little helpers make toys; JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle, but.... JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree, JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.
It's obvious there is really no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.
*
We need to put Christ back in Christmas.
Jesus is still the reason for the season!!!
Can I get an AMEN?!?!
*I didn't write this!!!! I got it in a forward and thought it was really cool!!!

Merry Christmas!!!

He Chose The Nails

It's a typical day for Joseph as he works in his carpenter shop. His wife Mary is inside the house visiting with her cousin Elizabeth. Jesus, who is about four years old at the time is playing with his cousin John while Joseph works.
"How are my boys today?" Asks Josepeh.
"Good, good," they say in unison as they play. Joseph continues to work and is startled when he looks up to see Jesus playing with some of his nails.
"Jesus, don't touch those! They could hurt you!"
Little Jesus holds one up curiousley. "Daddy what are these?"
"Those are nails Jesus," says Joseph. "Carpenters use them in their shop to build things.
The purpose of a nail is to bring together two things that are seperated."

After 20 years-NEW family pic!!!! ;)

WOW!!!! It's been at least 20 years since we last had a family picture taken. I am not sure how old I am in this pic but I am thinking about 4 or 5 years old!!! My brother John was like MARY why are you wearing boy sneakers with a foo-foo dress?!?! LOL I am like I have NO idea, but I am thinking I probably didn't have any church shoes and got stuck wearing Joe's hand-me-downs!!! John is like okay but still, why didn't you just wear socks for the pic? I am like dude I DON'T know!!! Ask mom!!! SHE is the one that dressed me!!!  Mom's dress also has a stain on it!!! Dad doesn't have any grays. Theresa is INCREDIBLEY dark from playing outside ALL the time. Joe isn't smiling and I am like playing with a string on my dress!!!! HAHAHA! Awww....I love it!!!!

Here we are NOW!!! No the pics not perfect...check out my dad's shirt!!! (Kinda wrinkled, but not bad for just being taken out of his suitcase after almost two years) Our family has grown slightly!!! Joe has gotten married!!!(Notice he is actually kinda smiling) So we have Jewel now. Theresa has two foster kids, Joe and Marry Joe. AND the biggie is John AND Abe were BORN!!! WOOHOO!!! Redneck Gingerbread House!!!

I went with my friend Jacqui to her kids Christmas party at her work. The Westin Kierland Resort. It was really cool because the tables center pieces was different gingerbread houses that different departments in the resort had made for an employee contest. There was some pretty impressive work done for the houses. There was was beautiful mansion like houses and castles and cute little cottages. People were really creative and did a really good job. Then in the middle of it all was this house---a MOBILE HOME!!! I just died laughing when I saw it and started snapping pics. My brothers LOVE this kinda stuff!!! Yes, that is even a little car up on gum-drop bricks!!! LOL In my personal-not-so-humble-opinion- I think this house should have won!!!

Oooops!!!

Okay so Saturday our church was going caroling at the Starbucks inside Albertsons grocery store. So I decided that since we don't have much of a winter here in AZ I was gonna wear my winter clothes while I had the chance. I get all dooted up with my purple turtleneck and my multi-colored scarf. I do my hair up in a french twist with curls. I just look at myself and smile!!! "Oh yeah girl!!!" So my brother gets to our house to pick me up. He honks the horn and I go out. He takes one look at me and just starts shaking his head!!! I am like WHAT?! I look GOOD!!! He shakes his head again and then says, "They said anyone singing in the choir for caroling should wear red, black or white AND you are wearing EVERY color BUT those!!!! I was like Oooooo!!! OOOPS!!! ;)

I miss her!!!

This is me and my girl Esther. She came to church on Wednesday and it was sooooo good to be able to spend time with her. It has been over year now since she left and I still miss her. When she came to live with me I never thought I would end up loving her the way I do. I never realized that we would become soooo attached. I never imagined I would cry sooooo many tears over her. I never knew that there would be and aching in my heart after she left. I never dreamed that after all this time I would still miss her, when she only lived with me for 2 and a half months. Yet If I had the chance to do it again, I would, in a heartbeat.
I remember after she left. One day at church I was just sitting there kinda missing her and trying to understand what all had happened. I just kept thinking in my head, she is not my girl, but it feels she is, but she is not, just get over it. After church, outta the blue, my neice Marry Joe, who my sister Theresa is her foster mom, came running over to me. She says to me;
"I am Theresa's baby and Esther is YOUR baby."
As soon as she said that I was like oh, Okay God I heard you! I may only be 13 years older than her. We may not ever live together. It may not make sense, it may seem weird, but Esther and I have an understanding that we will always belong to each other. I love you Esther!!!

This is our story!!!

Look at Obama!!! Read ALL the way through!

"Awww! I don't care who you voted for, anyone with a heart must admit that this picture is criminally cute:"

I found this picture on another blogger's website and the above statment with it. I have to say that I totally agree with her! Look at our new president reaching out too all those adorable little kids!!! It really is a sweet picture, YOU ALL have to admit that!!! I for one would like to stand up and give him an aplause for taking the time to shake hands with "The Little People!!!"
*
I just wonder if this picture was taken before or after he said a baby was a punishment?!?!

Hmmm...what do you all think?

"I've got two daughters, 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby." ( Barack Hussein Obama Newly elected U.S. President)

Too bad there are some "Little People" that will never have the chance to shake his hand-because they are a "punishment."

RFLOL

RFLOL...This is a common fraze that we use in text messaging, emails, etc.. I remember the first time I saw it. My friend Sheree text it to me and I was like HUH?!?! But as soon as I learned what it meaned I started using it quite often myself! Rolling on the floor laughing out loud! What a great fraze!!
.
But how many of you all have ever actually done the words that you have typed?!?! RFLOL? Think about it? SOOOOOOOOOOO I decided to try it!!! HAHA!!!
.

My neice and I have this little game we play with my brothers. Who is your favorite? ANd she always says; Aunt Mary!!! Which immediatley gets my brother John pouting. AND I, being the sweet, loving and mature sister that I am just LOVE to rub it in!!! Soooooo I start laughing!!! But one day I decided that LAUHgING just wasn't enough. So I just fell to the ground, (FOR EMPHASIS) and started rolling and hitting the ground. The best part was that Marry Joe joined me!!! HAHA! Its soooooo funny!
.
But the thing that really got me laughing is I look up and there is my mom just sitting calmly at the kitchen table sorting her coupons. I said, "Mom, don't you think this scenario is a little strange? Your 19-year-old son is pouting and your 25-year-old daughter is rolling on the floor lauging out loud?! She is like nope! I am used to this kinda stuff by now!!! LOL
.
Anyways, next time your about to type out RFLOL, why not try it!!! Really!!! It is sooooooooo much fun!!! Especially if you are laughing AT someone! It just makes it even more annoying!!! Although, I don't reccomend doing this in public!!! HAHA!!! Keep it within the family and close friends! (I don't want to be the blame of anyone being put into the HAPPY HOUSE!!! ;)

So I wanna know, has anyone actually ever found themself RFLOL?!?! Or am I the only cRaZy person around?

Awwww...

A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?"
"Because I'm a woman," she told him.
"I don't understand," he said.
His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."
Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"
"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.
The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.
Finally he put in a call to God.
When God got on the phone, he asked,
"God, why do women cry so easily?"God said:
"When I made the woman she had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.
I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.
I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.
I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.
I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.
I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.
And finally, I gave her a tear to shed.
This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."

"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."

* Okay I like just found this on someone's blog and I think I am gonna start crying!!! LOL I used to NEVER cry! I didn't even cry when I got the Holy Ghost!!! I was just HAPPY!! But something happened to me since I grew up and now I find the tears coming quite more often!! Anyways I think this is beautiful and I want it like read in my wedding or something!!!

P.S. I am still happy...I just laugh till I cry now!!! HAHA!
